I've changed my phone number; how do I update it on the app?
Log into the app and go to 'My Account' from the main menu. Tap 'Profile'. Here, you’ll be able to enter your new number in the field and change any other details. Press 'Save Changes', and you're done!
How do I add a profile picture?
Log into the app and go to 'My Account' from the main menu. Tap 'Profile'. Tap your photo icon in the top left, allow access to your photos, select your new photo and tap 'Save Changes’.
I have forgotten my password.
When you go to log into the app and go to enter your password, you’ll see a link that says 'Forgot Password?'. Tap that link, and you will receive an email with instructions on how to reset your password.
What are the blue teardrop-shaped icons on the map?
These are verified safety alerts either submitted by the help me Angela community, or verified emergency notifications from the police or other key organisations. Tap on the icons to see information on what type of incident occurred, as well as the date and time it was logged.
How do I refer a friend?
Log into the app and go to the 'Refer Your Friends' section in the main menu. You can even send your friend a personalised message too! You can refer as many people as you like.
Do you track my location all the time?
We only see your location when you activate an emergency safety alarm, or when you activate a Follow Me journey. Location services are active whilst you use the app, but only triggered on our system for these emergency scenarios. As soon as your Follow me journey is completed we can no longer see your location.
What is your foundation for?
The Andrew Copeland Foundation, named after one of our founders, is part of our mission to help people whose personal safety is at risk. We’re bringing together the charitable projects doing the most to help people whose personal safety is at risk and who have been the victim of personal assaults.
